Abstract:
This coated silver particle (20) comprises a silver core particle (21) and a plurality of aliphatic carboxylic acid molecules (22) adsorbed on the surface of the silver core particle (21) at a density of 2.5-5.2 molecules per nm2 of the surface. The number of carbon atoms of the aliphatic group of the aliphatic carboxylic acid molecules (22) is preferably 5-26. When the arithmetic average of the primary particle size is represented by DSEM and the standard deviation of the primary particle size is represented by SD, DSEM is preferably 0.02-5.0 µm and the particle size variation ratio which is defined by the general formula SD/DSEM is preferably 0.01-0.5.
