Abstract:
A coated tool according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a substrate provided with a first surface; and a coating layer positioned on at least the first surface of the substrate. The coating layer is provided with: a first layer which is positioned on the first surface, and which includes a titanium compound; and a second layer which is positioned in contact with the top of the first layer, and which includes an aluminium oxide. The coating layer has, provided in the first layer, a plurality of holes which are positioned side by side in a direction along the boundary between the first layer and the second layer, in a cross section orthogonal to the first surface.
