Title:
COATING AGENT AND ARTICLE PRODUCED USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/014028
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides: a coating agent characterized by comprising a urethane resin (C) and an aqueous medium (D), wherein the urethane resin (C) is produced by reacting a polyol (A) comprising a polyol (a1) having an aliphatic cyclic structure and a polyol (a2) having a hydrophilic group with a polyisocyanate (B) comprising a polyisocyanate (b1) having an aliphatic cyclic structure; and an article produced using the coating agent. The coating agent according to the present invention enables the production of a coating film having such excellent fingerprint resistance that, when a fingerprint is adhered onto the coating film, the fingerprint becomes less visible over time and can be wiped off readily from the coating film using a cloth or the like. Therefore, the coating agent can be used suitably in an article which can detract from the visibility and appearance thereof by the adherence of fingerprint stains upon the touch of fingers.
