Abstract:
To solve the problem of poor safety and short service life of a battery due to poor adhesion of a coating agent composition for battery electrodes or separators to an electrode or a separator.
A coating agent composition for battery electrodes or separators, which is characterized by containing: a vinyl alcohol copolymer having a structural unit represented by general formula (1); and an aqueous emulsion of a synthetic resin which is obtained by polymerizing a copolymerizable monomer that is mainly composed of an acrylic monomer, or an aqueous emulsion of a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer.
