Abstract:
For the purpose of obtaining printed matter that has excellent water resistance and is suppressed in white spots, white streaks and intercolor blurring in images, the present invention provides a coating agent for forming an inkjet ink-receiving layer, said coating agent being characterized by containing a water-soluble solvent and a crosslinked vinyl emulsion that is obtained by emulsion polymerizing a monomer mixture which contains (A) a monomer having two or more ethylenically unsaturated groups, (B) a monomer having a carboxyl group and one ethylenically unsaturated group and (C) a monomer having a hydrophobic group with 1-12 carbon atoms and one ethylenically unsaturated group.
