Abstract:
Disclosed is an inkjet-type coating applicator which is provided with a head (1) that has: a liquid chamber (2) having a solution stored therein; a nozzle hole (3), from which the solution is ejected below the liquid chamber (2); and a piezoelectric member (4) having the main surface (9) that faces, on the upper side of the liquid chamber (2), the liquid chamber (2). In the coating applicator, a first control unit (10) supplies the solution to the liquid chamber (2) with second pressure in high-pressure mode, said second pressure being higher than first pressure applied in normal application and being applied to the solution by reciprocating the main surface (9) of the piezoelectric member (4). With such configuration, air bubbles (6) in the liquid chamber (2) can be removed.
