Title:
COATING COMPOSITION DISPERSION, AQUEOUS COMPOSITE-PARTICLE DISPERSION, AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AQUEOUS COMPOSITE-PARTICLE DISPERSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/030443
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A coating composition dispersion that comprises: at least one aqueous composite-particle dispersion (C) which comprises an aqueous medium comprising water and composite particles dispersed in the aqueous medium, the composite particles comprising particles (A) and a polymer layer (B) which covers at least some of the surface of the particles (A) and containing phosphorus atoms in an amount of 0.12 mass% or smaller with respect to the total mass of the composite particles; and an aqueous resin dispersion (D). In the coating composition dispersion, the solid mass ratio of the aqueous composite-particle dispersion (C) to the aqueous resin dispersion (D) is (solid mass of component (C))/(solid mass of component (D)) = 100/0 to 1/99. The coating composition dispersion has a weatherability improvement value represented by the expression |Δb0-Δb|/(Δb0+Δb) of 0.15 or higher, wherein Δb is the color difference of a coating film formed from the coating composition dispersion and Δb0 is the color difference of a coating film formed from the aqueous resin dispersion (D).
