Abstract:
The purpose of an embodiment of the present disclosure is to provide: a coating composition capable of forming a hard coat layer having excellent adhesion and scratch resistance; an eyeglass lens; and a method for manufacturing an eyeglass lens. [1] A coating composition containing: hydrophobic inorganic oxide particles (A), a silane coupling agent (B), and a cationic photopolymerization initiator (C). [2] An eyeglass lens having: a hard coat layer obtained by curing said coating composition; and a substrate. [3] A method for manufacturing an eyeglass lens, the method comprising a step for applying said coating composition on a substrate, and a step for curing the applied coating composition by irradiating the coating composition with light.
