Abstract:
The present invention relates to a coating composition for a golf ball cover, and more specifically, to a matte coating composition into which is mixed a synthetic fatty acid resin derived from dehydrated castor oil. According to the present invention, a golf ball having a matte surface can have a uniform and delicate matte appearance and achieve visibility to enable high-precision striking, desired markings of various colors, characters, patterns, etc. can be accurately applied thereon, and surface yellowing caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays can be prevented.
