Abstract:
A purpose of the present invention is to provide a coating composition which is capable of forming a coating film, said coating film having a good coating film appearance (for example, smoothness), high designability and well-balanced coating film properties such as scratch resistance, and which is heat-curable and, therefore, enables the curing of the coating film by a simple method. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for forming a coating film, said method comprising forming a coating film with the use of the coating composition according to the present invention. More particularly, provided is a coating composition which comprises at least one kind of branched polymer selected from a dendrimer and a hyper branch polymer and an isocyanate compound, said isocyanate compound having isocyanate group(s) and alkyl silanol group(s) and containing at least one isocyanate functional group.
