Abstract:
Disclosed is a device (10) for coating a metal band (12) in a molten bath (14), essentially comprising a shaft (16, 18) which is rotatable in the molten bath (14) and directs the metal band (12) and a friction bearing (261, 262) for supporting the shaft (16, 18). The friction bearing (261,262) is formed by a housing (32) and a cup (34) which is mounted therein. Said bearing cup (34) is provided with several pairs of bearing surfaces (361 - 364) and is closed in the circumferential direction. The bearing cup (34) can be adjusted to several rotary positions in the circumferential direction within the bearing housing (32). The inventive coating device also comprises a removable fixing element (40), by means of which the bearing cup (34) can be fixed relative to the bearing housing (32) in the adjusted rotary position, whereby a worn pair of bearing surfaces (361 - 364) can be replaced in a simple manner by an unworn pair of bearing surfaces (361 - 364) by rotating the bearing cup.
