Abstract:
This coating device for a liquid material is provided with a coating unit (10) and a wiping unit (30). The coating unit (10) causes the leading end section (3a) of a coating needle (3) to be immersed in a liquid material (4) inside a container (1) during standby, and causes the leading end section (3a) of the coating needle (3) to protrude from a through-hole (1b) located at the bottom of the container (1). The wiping unit (30) includes a wiping head (33) that causes one part of a wiping tape (34) to protrude upward. When a liquid material pool (4a) that develops below the through-hole (1b) is to be wiped off, the wiping head (33) is elevated and the coating unit (10) is moved to a standby position, and the lower end surface of the container (1) and the upper end surface of the wiping tape (34) are brought into contact with each other to wipe the liquid material pool (4a). The coated amount of the liquid material (4) can be prevented from varying by the effect of the liquid material pool (4a).
