Abstract:
A coating head in the present invention is provided with a coating liquid chamber filled with a coating liquid, and a nozzle chamber in which a distal-end opening thereof is a discharge port, the nozzle chamber being a flow path continuous from the coating liquid chamber. A control unit in the present invention is provided with a discharge parameter determination unit for determining a discharge parameter in a continuous discharge period in which droplets are continuously discharged from the coating head, on the basis of the volume of the nozzle chamber and a supply flow rate, the supply flow rate being the volume of the coating liquid per unit time that can be supplied to the coating liquid chamber from a coating liquid feeding part in parallel with discharge operation in the coating head. The continuous discharge period includes an increased-discharge period in which the volume of the coating liquid per unit time discharged from the discharge port is greater than the supply flow rate, and, the total volume of the coating liquid discharged from the discharge port in the continuous discharge period is no greater than the sum of the volume of the nozzle chamber and the total volume of the coating liquid supplied to the coating liquid chamber from the coating liquid feeding part in the continuous discharge period.
