Abstract:
The present invention provides a coating film for attachment to the outer surface of an automobile windshield, wherein a functional coating layer serving as the outermost surface contains a polymer formed to have a chain structure by reacting 2-oxepanone polymer with 2-ethyl-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol, and thus, when attached to the outer surface of the automobile windshield, can effectively protect the windshield from stone-chip damage. Also, the functional coating layer having anti-fouling, water-repellent, self-healing, and IR-blocking functions is formed of a soft material rather than of a UV-curable type material, thus minimizing the occurrence of scratches formed by windshield wipers, and even when a scratch is formed, the self-healing function causes the scratch to naturally disappear over time, thus securing an optimal field of view for a driver. In addition, the present invention relates to a preparation method of the coating film.
