Abstract:
Provided is a coating material composition having excellent coating material producibility and coating material stability, and being capable of forming a coating film having excellent appearance. Also provided are a coating film having high design properties and excellent appearance by including a fiber, and an article having said coating film. This coating material composition includes a fiber, a boron compound, a hydrophilic polymer, and water. The hydrophilic polymer has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 or greater and has a specific hydrophilic group, and the ratio of the total formula weight of a specific part of said group with respect to the molecular weight of said hydrophilic polymer molecule is 15-40%. The coating film uses said coating material composition. The article has said coating film.
