Abstract:
The present invention provides a coating material composition and a construction material, which exhibit thermal insulation performance that enables an improvement in air conditioning efficiency. This coating material composition is characterized: by containing silicon fine particles, a nanocarbon powder and a calcium powder; and in that the calcium powder contains calcium hydroxide derived from scallop shells or egg shells. In addition, the construction material is characterized: by comprising a base material 20 and a functional layer 30 coated on the base material 20; and in that the functional layer 30 contains silicon fine particles, a nanocarbon powder, and a calcium powder. Here, the functional layer 30 is preferably a coating film of the coating material composition.
