Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a coating material for toilet bowls which is able to impart an excellent antifouling effect to surfaces of the toilet bowls.
[Solution] A toilet bowl is coated with a betaine-group-containing hydrophilic polymer which includes repeating units of a betaine-group-containing monomer and has a silanol group at one terminal. Thus, an especially prominent effect of preventing fecal fouling can be imparted thereto.
