Abstract:
A first coating rod disposed on the upper side of a resin film is pushed against
the resin film while being circumscribed and supported by a support having two
or more pairs of rollers intermittently disposed in the length direction for
the first coating rod, and is rotated at approximately the same speed and in the
same direction as the resin film. The lower side of the resin film is supported
by a guide roll or second coating rod disposed downstream from the first coating
rod and upstream from a tenter. The coating fluid continuously metered to the
upper side of the resin film is smoothened with the first coating rod.
