Abstract:
A coating method for an umbrella/bell-shaped insulator RTV antifouling flashing coating, characterized in comprising the following steps: (A) cleaning the surface of an insulator, and optionally covering a part of the insulator for which coating is not required; (B) immersing the insulator into a coating for rotary coating by using a coating machine having a rotary function; and, (C) solidifying the coated insulator in room temperature and humid conditions. The coating method is simple to operate, inexpensive, of reduced pollution, and safe to produce, allows automated control for a process from immersed coating to preliminary solidification, easy-to-control product quality, and high productivity, provides a smooth appearance free of bubbles, free of hanging drips, free of accumulations, even coating, and uniform thickness.
