Abstract:
The invention relates to a suspension in aqueous phase, comprising: at least one powder polymer having a content ranging from 10 to 30%, said polymer having a molecular weight of less than 8 000 000 g/mol and the polymer particles having a maximum size ranging from 30 to 150 microns; at least one water-miscible low-density solvent with a content ranging from 10 to 50%; and, optionally, a surfactant, a colorant or UV stabilizers. The invention also relates to a method comprising: the application, in particular by spraying, of such a suspension onto a substrate; and the melting of the polymer particles. The coating thus obtained serves to modify dense or cellular rubber surfaces in order to improve the appearance, the strength and the friction coefficient thereof.
