Abstract:
The present invention relates to a coating system (10A) and a coating method. The coating system (10A) carries out a first application, a second application, and a third application in this order on a vehicle body (W) delivered along a transport line (20). The transport line (20) has: a first transport line (42a) provided with a first application station (14); a second transport line (42b) provided with a second application station (16); a third transport line (42c) provided with a related work station (18); and intermediate lines (44a – 44d). The first transport line (42a), the second transport line (42b), and the third transport line (42c) are provided so as to extend in parallel with each other.
