Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the labor involved in supplying a coating material to a coating roller, and to reduce unevenness of coating. [Solution] A coating tool for applying a coating by bringing a coating roller impregnated with a coating material into rolling contact with a surface to be coated, wherein the coating tool is provided with: a cylindrical inner cylinder filled with a coating material; an inside slit communicating the inside and outside of the inner cylinder, the inside slit being provided so as to extend along the axial direction in a side surface of the inner cylinder; a tubular outer cylinder on the outside of which the coating roller is fitted, and which is fitted on the outside of the inner cylinder and slidably rotated along the outer circumferential surface of the inner cylinder; and an outside slit communicating the inside and outside of the outer cylinder, the outside slit being provided in the side surface of the outer cylinder so as to extend along the axial direction so that a portion thereof that intersects with the inside slit is formed.
