Abstract:

Provided is a coating transfer tool with a mechanism for urging a durable head cap. The coating transfer tool is provided with: a paying-out part that pays out a tape including a coating; a transfer head that transfers the coating from the tape onto a surface to be transferred; a cassette that accommodates the paying-out part and to which the transfer head is fixed; and a head cap. One of the head cap and the transfer head and the cassette has a shaft part, and the other thereof has a shaft receiving hole that receives the shaft part. The head cap turns between a closed position at which the transfer head is covered and an open position at which the transfer head is exposed when the shaft part relatively rotates inside the shaft receiving hole. The distance of each of the shaft part and the shaft receiving hole from a rotation axis of the shaft part changes along a circumferential direction. The head cap is urged toward the closed position when placed on the side closer to the closed position than a change point between the closed potion and the open position and urged toward the open position when placed on the side closer to the open position than the change point.
