The purpose of the present invention is to provide a coaxial connector for inspection which can suppress transmission of high-frequency signals in the reverse direction, and a center conductor. This coaxial connector for inspection is provided with a tubular outer conductor and center conductor which extend in a first direction, and a first bushing. The center conductor is fixed to an external conductor by means of the first bushing, and is provided with: an internal plunger; a barrel into which the end of the internal plunger on one side in the first direction is inserted; a first elastic body which is disposed inside of the barrel and which presses the barrel to one side in the first direction against the plunger; and a pin which extends from one end of the barrel in the first direction towards the one side in the first direction and which is integrated with the barrel and is thinner than the barrel. The internal plunger has a uniform section having a uniform thickness, and the other end of the barrel in the first direction is positioned between the two ends of the uniform section in the first direction.
