A coaxial electric drive system and a vehicle; the coaxial electric drive system comprises a motor housing (11), a speed reduction device housing (12), a differential housing (13), a motor, a speed reduction device, a differential (4) and a disconnection device (5); the motor comprises a first half shaft (231) and a second half shaft (232) which are coaxially arranged; the speed reduction device is arranged in the speed reduction device housing (12); the speed reduction device comprises a sun gear (31), a first planet gear (32), a second planet gear (33) and a ring gear (34); the ring gear (34) is arranged on the speed reduction device housing (12); the first planet gear (32) and the second planet gear (33) are rotatably arranged on the differential housing (13); at least a part of the differential (4) is located between the second planet gear (33) and the first half shaft (231); and the disconnection device (5) is provided at the end of the first half shaft (231) away from the second half shaft (232), and the disconnection device (5) is configured to selectively connect or disconnect the first half shaft (231) and a wheel hub. The coaxial electric drive system has a compact structure and high integration, and can realize the switching of four-wheel drive or hybrid drive of a vehicle, being more energy-saving and emission-reducing.
