Abstract:
Disclosed are a cobalt-free layered positive electrode material and a preparation method therefor, and a lithium-ion battery. The cobalt-free layered positive electrode material is of a core-shell structure, the material for forming a shell (200) of the core-shell structure comprises titanium nitride, and the material for forming a core (100) of the core-shell structure does not comprise cobalt and is of a single crystal structure. According to the cobalt-free layered positive electrode material, the surface of the cobalt-free core (100) is coated with titanium nitride with high conductivity, such that the rate performance of the positive electrode material can be improved while the price cost of the positive electrode material is reduced, and the rate performance of the cobalt-free positive electrode material is thus better.
