Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a coconut shell medium that can be easily deformed, is lightweight, and is excellent in ease of use. [Solution] This coconut shell medium is provided with: a coconut fiber mat 11 formed by combining coconut shell fibers 12 by a mechanical process without using an adhesive; and a coconut shell powder 15 that is rubbed into and fills gaps in the coconut fiber mat 11. Moreover, the present invention is characterized in that 1-5 kg of the coconut shell powder 15 having a water content of 10-40% is rubbed into each 10 L of the coconut shell fiber mat 11.
