Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of wireless communications. Disclosed are a code word layer mapping reporting method and apparatus, a code word layer mapping receiving method and apparatus, a device, and a medium. The code word layer mapping reporting method comprises: reporting capability information of a terminal, the capability information being used for determining that the terminal supports enabling a layer mapping scheme of type two, wherein the maximum value of the difference between the number of transmission layers obtained after layer mapping is performed on two code words by means of a layer mapping scheme of type one is different from the maximum value thereof obtained after layer mapping is performed on the two code words by means of the layer mapping scheme of type two. In the technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present application, by means of the terminal reporting the capability information thereof to a network device, the network device grasps a situation wherein the terminal supports enabling the layer mapping scheme of type two; the number of transmission layers obtained after layer mapping is performed on the two code words can be flexibly configured by means of the layer mapping scheme of type two; and transmission requirements in different scenarios can be met by means of flexibly configuring the number of transmission layers.
