Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a codeword determination method for an 8-antenna-port multi-antenna panel of uplink MIMO transmission, and an apparatus therefor, which can be used in a communication system. The method comprises: determining a candidate codebook of a 4-antenna-port and/or 2-antenna-port corresponding to uplink MIMO transmission, and determining panel configuration information of an 8-antenna-port multi-antenna panel of uplink MIMO transmission; and on the basis of the candidate codebook and the panel configuration information, determining codewords of the L layers of the 8-antenna-port multi-antenna panel. In the embodiments of the present application, high-dimensional 8-antenna-port antenna full-coherent transmission codewords can be constructed on the basis of low-dimensional antenna full-coherent transmission codewords, such that the requirement of the uplink MIMO supporting one layer to eight layers of transmission for the 8-antenna-port can be satisfied, thereby further enhancing the uplink MIMO technology.
