Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of coding and decoding. Disclosed in the present application are a coding method, a decoding method, an apparatus and a device. The coding method comprises: a coding end quantizing geometric information of a target three-dimensional mesh, and acquiring first precision geometric information and second precision geometric information; the coding end acquiring a first geometric graph of the first precision geometric information and a placeholder image; according to the second precision geometric information and the first geometric graph, the coding end acquiring a second geometric graph containing the second precision geometric information and the first precision geometric information; and the coding end coding the second geometric graph and the placeholder image, the first precision geometric information being geometric information obtained after the target three-dimensional mesh is quantized, and the second precision geometric information being geometric information lost during the target three-dimensional mesh quantization process.
