Abstract:
A coextruded film (10) has an adhesive layer (12), comprising a blend of a maleic anhydride modified polyolefin resin and a polyolefin resin, disposed between a barrier layer (11), comprising an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, and a sealant layer (13), comprising a polyolefin resin. The use of the adhesive layer enables the provision of a coextruded film having sufficient barrier characteristics from the barrier layer comprising an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer, and having an excellent appearance with a good surface gloss and the suppression of surface irregularities.
