Abstract:
A coffin cooling device, comprising a cooling member (12) in contact with or fitted closely to the bottom part (16) of a coffin (11) placed on the upper part of the cooling member, wherein the bottom part (16) of the coffin (11) is cooled by direct heat conduction from the cooling member (12) to cool the remains stored in the coffin (11). Thus, the use of dry ice and liquefied gas for cooling the coffin can be eliminated and, because any special device and hole must not be formed in the coffin, the coffin having been used can be used without any modification.
