Abstract:
This coil apparatus is provided with: a coil that includes a conducting wire; and a ferrite core located adjacent to the coil. The ferrite core includes: a core part that is a magnetic body continuously extending in a first direction parallel to the direction of a magnetic flux generated around the coil and that is configured such that the length in the first direction is longer than that in a second direction; and gaps that have a lower magnetic permeability than the core part and that are formed on both sides of the core part in the second direction so as to extend along the core part. In the ferrite core, a first region in which the space factor of the core part is equal to or higher than a certain level, and a second region which includes at least the gaps and in which the space factor of the core part is lower than that in the first region, are formed within a region in which the coil is projected in a third direction.
