Abstract:
A coil component (3) is provided with: a coil (4); a core (5a, 5b) disposed so as to cover a winding portion (4a) of the coil (4) and forming a magnetic path of a magnetic flux that links with a winding wire of the coil (4); and a bobbin (6) insulating the coil (4) and the core (5a, 5b) from each other. The bobbin (6) includes an outer side wall (6c) which is disposed in the vicinity of an exposed portion of each of turns (4a1 to 4a4) of the winding portion (4a) of the coil (4) that is exposed from the core (5a, 5b), the outer side wall (6c) rising in parallel to an axial direction (J) of the winding portion (4a). The outer side wall (6c) and the exposed portions of the turns (4a1 to 4a4) are connected by means of a connecting member (7) comprising an adhesive.
