Abstract:
Provided is a technology whereby a coil module comprising a coil component can be inexpensively manufactured as a result of simplifying the production process and reducing the cost of coil components. The production process can be simplified and the cost of a coil component (30) reduced as a result of providing only first and second pillar-shaped conductors (13, 14), which are part of a coil electrode (12), on the coil component (30). In addition, a substrate-side wiring electrode pattern (16) forming part of the remainder of the coil electrode (12) is provided on a wiring substrate (20) and, when the wiring substrate (20) is formed using general substrate formation technology, the substrate-side wiring electrode pattern (16) can be easily formed together with other wiring electrodes. Accordingly, a coil module (1) comprising the coil component (30) can be inexpensively produced as a result of a configuration whereby the coil electrode (12) is formed by arranging the coil component (30) on the wiring substrate (20).
