Abstract:
This coil has a turn column comprising first to nth turns (n is an integer of 3 or more) in which conductive wires having a quadrangular cross section are wound spirally and stacked, wherein at least some of the conductive wires of the first to nth turns of the coil have a deformed portion which is a recess with a shape different from that of the conductive wires of the others. In each of the first and the nth turns positioned at both ends of the turn column, an outer surface positioned on the opposite side to the center of the turn column extends along a plane intersecting the turn column in a flush manner.
