Abstract:
A coil spring end processing device according to the present disclosure is provided with: a first grindstone; a second grindstone; a first spring holder; a second spring holder; a first retainer for grinding; a second retainer for grinding; and a control unit which controls these components and which executes second grinding control upon completion of first grinding control. The first grinding control is control in which one axial direction end of a coil spring is brought into contact with the first grindstone using the first spring holder, after which said one axial direction end of the coil spring is ground using the first grindstone with the one axial direction end side of the coil spring being retained by the first retainer for grinding. The second grinding control is control in which the other axial direction end of the coil spring is brought into contact with the second grindstone using the second spring holder, after which said other axial direction end of the coil spring is ground using the second grindstone with said other axial direction end side of the coil spring being retained by the second retainer for grinding.
