Abstract:
In a coin identification method according to the present invention, the type and defectiveness or non-defectiveness of a coin to be identified are simultaneously determined by comparing the maximum or minimum frequency value output when the coin to be identified passes through a first inductor, the maximum or minimum frequency value output when the coin to be identified passes through a second inductor, and the width value of a linear graph of the change in frequency, from the point at which the frequency changes as the coin to be identified passes through the second inductor to when the frequency returns to a reference frequency, with reference values set for each type of normal coin, and thus the coin identification method improves the efficiency and reliability of identification.
