Abstract:

A coin sorter, comprising: a body (1); a turntable (2) rotatably provided on the body (1); and a thickness adjusting plate (3) extending from the edge of the turntable (2) towards the center of the turntable (2); a coin channel (4) through which coins pass is formed between a bottom surface (31) of the thickness adjusting plate (3) and a top surface (21) of the turntable (2); two ends of the coin channel (4) are a coin inlet (41) and a coin outlet (42), respectively, and the coin outlet (42) is provided with a rotatable coin crawling wheel (5) used for guiding coins out from the turntable (2). By means dividing the bottom surface (31) of the thickness adjusting plate (3) into a first bottom surface (311) close to the coin inlet (41) and a second bottom surface (312) away from the coin inlet (41), and by means of causing the distance from the first bottom surface (311) to the top surface (21) of the turntable to be twice the distance from the second bottom surface (312) to the top surface (21) of the turntable (2), multiple layers of coins may be adjusted by the thickness adjusting plate (3) to be a single layer of coins when passing through the coin inlet (41), thus ensuring that coins that flow out of the coin outlet (42) and are ultimately guided out by the coin crawling wheel (5) are a single layer of coins, preventing the coin crawling wheel (5) from being jammed by multiple layers of coins, and lowering the malfunction rate of the coin sorter.
