Abstract:
This coin sorting apparatus (100) sorts, according to type, coins (C) guided from upstream to downstream by means of gravity along a passage (10) having an outer wall (11) and a slope surface (12), and drops the coins into different falling positions (P) on the opposite side of the outer wall (11), wherein the passage (10) is provided with: at the upper part thereof, a plurality of projection parts (14) provided to positions gradually lower in height from the slope surface (12) along the passage (10) according to the outer diameters of the different types of coins (C); and, at the lower part of the passage (10), an inner wall (13) provided to the inside of the passage (10) so as to be continuous along the passage (10) with a height (v) enabling the coins (C) to roll over the inner wall and fall at the falling positions (P).
