Abstract:
Provided is a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp (10) wherein a phosphor film (2), comprised of a phosphor formed as a result of mixing three types of phosphors, a green phosphor, a red phosphor, and a blue phosphor, is coated on the inner wall surface of a glass tube (1). A phosphor having a short afterglow time, indicated by "Y2O2S:Tb" or "Gd2O2S:Tb," is used for the green phosphor. A phosphor indicated by "YVO4:Eu," "Y(PV)O4:Eu," or "Y2O3:Eu" is used for the red phosphor, and a phosphor indicated by "BaMgAl10O17:Eu" or "(Sr, Ca, Ba)5(PO4)3Cl:Eu" is used for the blue phosphor. The mixing ratio of the green phosphor, the red phosphor, and the blue phosphor is adjusted so that an appropriate white color in accordance with the usage thereof can be obtained.
