Abstract:
The present application relates to a collaborative robotic arm and a joint module thereof. The joint module comprises a joint housing, a driving assembly and a multi-turn absolute encoder. The joint module measures the angular position of an output shaft and records the number of rotations of the output shaft only by means of the multi-turn absolute encoder, thereby reducing the cost of a collaborative robotic arm. The multi-turn absolute encoder comprises a base, a bearing, a rotary shaft, an encoding disk and a circuit board, wherein the encoding disk is rotatably connected to the base by means of the rotary shaft and the bearing, the circuit board is fixedly connected to the base, and a read head on the circuit board and the encoding disk cooperate with each other after being calibrated, so as to perform corresponding measurement, such that the multi-turn absolute encoder has an integrated structure, and is convenient to dismount or mount. The base and the rotary shaft are detachably connected to the joint housing and the output shaft, respectively, and after a fault occurs in the joint module and same is repaired, the number of calibrations of the encoder can be reduced, thereby further reducing the production and maintenance costs of the collaborative robotic arm.
