Title:
COLLATING SYSTEM, METHOD, DEVICE, AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/110608
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention makes leakage or spoofing, etc., avoidable and heightens safety with regard to a binary vector. A collating device generating a random number and transmitting encrypted data obtained by an arithmetic operation with the random number while keeping a first value encrypted that pertains to a first binary vector encrypted by an encryption key, or encrypted data derived by encrypting the generated random number with the encryption key, to a collation requesting device. The collation requesting device transmits encrypted data obtained by an arithmetic operation with a second binary vector for collation, while keeping the encrypted data encrypted, to the collating device. The collating device generates, on the basis of a second value pertaining to the first binary vector encrypted with the encryption key and the encrypted data transmitted from the collation requesting device and the random number, encrypted data for verifying a level of mismatch between the second binary vector and the first binary vector, or the encrypted data and auxiliary data, and transmits same to a verification device as a query. The verification device determines, on the basis of a value derived by decrypting the encrypted data of the query transmitted from the collating device with a decryption key, or the decrypted value and the auxiliary data of the query, whether or not the number of elements of mismatch between the second binary vector and the first binary vector is less than or equal to a predetermined number.
