Abstract:
Provided are a collection assisting system and a collection assisting method that can make it easier to collect a lost item in an elevator hoistway. In a collection assisting system (20), a detection unit (25) detects the presence of a lost item (16) in a hoistway (3) on the basis of a radio signal received by a receiver (21) attached to the outside of a car (9) from a transmitter (18) attached to the lost item (16) in the hoistway (3). An acquisition unit (24) acquires location information of the car (9) at the time when the receiver (21) receives the radio signal from the transmitter (18). A determination unit (26) determines the location of the lost item (16) in the hoistway (3) in the up-down direction on the basis of the location information of the car (9) acquired by the acquisition unit (24) when the detection unit (25) detects the presence of the lost item (16) in the hoistway (3). A notification unit (27) notifies of the location of the lost item (16) determined by the determination unit (26).
