Abstract:
A collision avoidance device is provided with, for example: a collision avoidance execution unit that can activate a collision avoidance function for avoiding collision with an object to be avoided; a determination unit that determines the presence or absence of the will of a driver for acceleration on the basis of the operation of an accelerator pedal by the driver; and a collision avoidance control unit that prohibits the activation of the collision avoidance function when it is determined that there is the will for acceleration.
