Abstract:
This collision determination device is provided with a radar detection unit which detects objects in the perimeter of the vehicle with radar waves, an image detection unit which captures images of the perimeter of the vehicle and which detects objects with the captured images, and a collision determination unit which determines collisions between the vehicle and the object on the basis of a composite target generated using the detection results of the radar detection unit and the detection results of the image detection unit. If the composite target generation state has been cleared, the collision determination unit performs collision determination on the basis of the composite target information from before said generation state was cleared.
