Abstract:
A collision determination device (20) includes: an acquisition unit (21) that acquires detection information from a probe device (31) on the basis of reflected waves thereof; a setting unit (28) that, when the detection information is filtered, sets filter characteristics for said filtering; an object information detection unit (23) that uses the filtered detection information to detect the position of an object; an object path estimation unit (24) that estimates the path of the object on the basis of changes in the position of the object as detected by the object information detection unit; a host vehicle path estimation unit (25) that estimates the path of a host vehicle; and a collision determination unit (26) that executes a determination of a collision between the host vehicle and the object. On the basis of the position of the object and the traveling state of the host vehicle, the setting unit estimates a detectable time or a detectable distance over which the position of the object can be detected on the path of the object, and sets the filter characteristics in accordance with the estimated detectable time or detectable distance.
