Abstract:
This collision energy absorption device for a railway car is provided with at least one outer plate which configures an outer tube which has an axis extending in the longitudinal direction of the car, and at least one partition plate which extends in the longitudinal direction of the car in the inner space surrounded by the at least one outer plate and which is fixed to the outer plate and partitions the inner space. The ends of the partition plate in a direction perpendicular to the aforementioned axis are sandwiched by the outer plate so as to partially configure the outer tube.
