Abstract:
The invention is a collision position detection device (50) provided with: a piezoelectric element (51) that generates a voltage by means of a collision; a signal detection means that detects a signal generated by means of the collision on the piezoelectric element (51); and a process means that identifies the collision position on the piezoelectric element from the signal detected by means of the signal detection means. The piezoelectric element (51) is a long piezoelectric element (51) comprising: a long piezoelectric body (51b); conductors (51a, 51c) layered on both sides of the piezoelectric body (51c); and a covering body (51d) covering the outer periphery of said piezoelectric body (51b) and conductors (51a, 51c). Said collision position detection device is capable of identifying the collision position by detecting both of a front end signal generated from the front end of the long piezoelectric element (51) and a rear end signal generated from the rear end of the long piezoelectric element (51). By providing said piezoelectric element (51) on a windmill blade, information about birds that have collided with the blade can be detected.
