Abstract:
A collision possibility determination device (20) equipped with: a detection unit (21), which detects at least one body moving relative to a moving object; and a determination unit (23) which, when the body exists in an area for which the interval between the moving object and the body in the forward direction of the moving object is equal to or greater than a prescribed value, determines the possibility of a collision between the moving object and the body on the basis of the interval between the moving object and the body in the forward direction of the moving object, and the interval between the moving object and the body in the width direction of the moving object, and which, when the body exists in an area for which the interval between the moving object and the body in the forward direction of the moving object is less than a prescribed value, determines the possibility of a collision between the moving object and the body on the basis of the interval between the moving object and the body in the forward direction of the moving object.
